Cracking a disciplinary whip Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav suspended 10 forest officials for alleged dereliction of duty, government spokesman said here on Sunday. Chief Minister has put Divisional Forest Officer, Gonda Manoj Kumar Shukla and the then DFO Pilibhit Rajiv Mishra have been placed under suspension with immediate effect, official spokesman said here. The two officers are charged with dereliction of duty. They were found negligent in controlling operation of illegal saw mills in their areas and their staff. The revelation were made in a probe carried out by Chief Conservator of Forest (central zone) Eight other officials of the forest department had been suspended on similar charges, the spokesman said.
